WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES
Washington State Ferries are a great way to come to Doe Bay. The ride is beautiful and you may walk on or bring your own car to explore Orcas Island.

By far the most popular way of traveling to Orcas Island from Anacortes, the WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES allows you the option of traveling with your car. Washington State Ferries suggest you arrive at least 1 hour early if you are traveling with your car and at peak travel times expect to wait upwards of 3 hours or more. Cyclists, motorcycles, and walk on passengers are welcome.

Island Express Charters is without a doubt the most enchanting way to arrive on Doe Bay’s shore. If you are traveling by foot or bicycle and the tide is high at Doe Bay, Captain Ray can pilot his aluminum landing craft into Otter Cove and drop you on our sandy beach. We especially recommend this service for groups arriving for events and retreats. Alternatively, the landing craft can always deposit guests at the Deception Pass dock, just 3 miles to the East of Doe Bay.
