At the Doe Bay Café we support our local farmers by using in-season ingredients in everything we make. Orcas Island has an abundance of farms, foragers and fishermen that we draw on for our fresh ingredients. Chef Abigael Birrell draws from what is here on the islands, the surrounding waters and land of the region, and takes organic and seasonal fare to a new level of excellence. We invite you to join us in our dining room over the water, where we feature delightful organic vegetables and fruits grown for us by a network of local Orcas farmers. Often the food you enjoy with us was harvested just hours before we prepare it, bringing you the peak of flavor and vitality.
