| Getting Here Doe Bay is located on the south east edge of Orcas Island, approximately 40 minutes from the Orcas Island ferry terminal. From I-5 take exit 230, which is about 1½ hours north of Seattle and ½ hour south of Bellingham. Head west on Highway 20 to Anacortes and then follow the signs to the San Juan ferry terminal. Catch a ferry to Orcas Island - be sure to give yourself plenty of time as lines in the summer and on weekends can be long. Follow everyone off the ferry to the left and you will be on 'Horseshoe Highway'. Go about 10 miles, turn right to go through the town of Eastsound, go along Crescent Beach, take a right at the T. About 7 more miles gets you to Moran State Park, drive slowly through the park, 3 more miles or so and you will see the Olga Café, turn left to stay on the main road, 3 more miles and you'll see the big Doe Bay sign with two deer on it. Paradise found!
